 He was diagnoised w/type1 at age5. Just recently we have started having severe behavioral problems with him. He has know been diagnosed with ADHA too. Just recently he has became very shy, keep to himself, says he has no friends and the ones that claim to be his friends make fun of him when adults are not around. I know this has to be difficult, but he has now turned on me too. I can do nothing right, but he knows he can depend on me for insulin ect. Is this normal ??

I have had diabetic neuropathy in both feet and legs for a few years now. Mine was caused by mis-diagnosis of diabetes type years ago and subsequent treatment If it helps at all, my symptoms are loss of feeling in my feet, not feeling hot or cold but plenty of pain
due to nerve damage. My legs have a constant feeling of pins and needles which feel like they are burning all the time. Anything touching my legs is extremely painful. There are some different symptoms of neuropathy but these are the ones I managed to get saddled with. I walk using 2 elbow crutches and sometimes I have to use a wheelchair.
I also cannot drive due to the loss of feeling in my feet. The DVLA were very quick taking my driving licence off me but I have been told I can get a car adapted so I don’t need to use my feet at all. I don’t feel very confident driving like this so I rely on taxi’s now.

Hello all!

I stopped taking metformin 3 days ago and my sugar is still low. I’m wondering if it wasn’t the gall bladder causing all the problems to start with.

I have just been approved for Medicare and needto find a Dr. in my area.But there are several different specialties and I don’t know what
would be right for my health problems. I currently see a PA at a free clinic and want to change to a real Dr. I am diabetic and have high blood pressure. Also starting to have problems with my feet and vision.

Any info anyone has would be welcome, also any help with this Medicare mess would be great.
