		<description>Hey Sanjay,

I ***definitely** recommend she consider trying natural animal insulin -- it
is much more like natural vertebrate insulin. But because she is a type 1
diabetic (like me) her body developed antibodies to attack the insulin her body
produces naturally.

Using insulin like Humalog and Lantus are manufactured to appear similar to
human insulin, but her body reacts negatively (swings in blood sugar -- high
and low) because it does not work correctly with her brains response to blood
sugar level.

I make this suggestion because I had the same problems with Humalog and a
litany of synthetic human insulins, since 1985. I never had the chance to try
natural animal insulin -- but if I had, it would've saved me decades of erratic
&lt;!--more--&gt;
blood sugars.

I hope this helps!! If you'd like to give it a try -- discuss the interest
of doing so with your doctor. I'm sure he'll have never had the request (mine
hadn't) -- but my doctor is thrilled with the response we've seen in my blood
sugar control and overall feeling of **normalcy**. I can give you some
guidance on importing the insulin (it's not made in the US -- no Big Pharma
company doe$$ it anymore).

Best always,

		<description>I strongly recommend &#34;Dr BErnstein's diabetes Solution&#34; book.
HE understands what's involved.
