Diabetes II & Celiac Disease / Gluten-Sensitivity
Hi Everyone,
I am on the homestretch writing a book about Diabetes Risk
Recognition (due to be published later this year) along with its
companion volume, which will offer natural medicine suggestions and
approaches towards disease avoidance and reversal.
While it is known that there is a link between Celiac disease and
Diabetes I, recently I quite frequently come across type 2 diabetics
with a double diagnosis of Celiac disease.
On this website too there seem to be quite a few of you suffering
this double plight. I would be interested hearing from those of you
who have (or suspect to have) Celiac disease along with one or the
other form of diabetes.
A Celiac myself (and a natural health professional)I hope - with the
help of your feedback - to be able to shed more light on the
underlying causes and interactions between the two conditions.
Thank you for your help,

ndocr, what do you know of gluten sensitivity that is severely
aggravated by bowel dysbiosis containing candida due to the
candida containing the same reactive protein in the cell wall?
In our experience on the candidiasis list, and we note that many
type II diabetics have opportunistic candidiasis, gluten
sensitivity is no longer a problem when they get rid of the
candida. It’s apparently all dose-related.
