pumps
Our doctor wants my daughter to look at pumps. Now that she has had
to do shots before breakfast, lunch, and dinner she has decided she
might like the idea. However, they said the meds are causing her
levels to be high, so would it be better to wait to see if she can go
back to one shot a day? It could be the meds, she is also sick, or
her honeymoon stage is ending — or combo, right? She liked the
omnipod — wwww.omnipod.com, but we can’t get it in our area yet.
She liked how it worked by remote. Any suggestions?

I would first do what the expert "Dr Bernstein’s diabetes solution" book
suggests to get maximum control with diet - then use insulin for the
REST - not for everything.
I would not choose a method till I had the diet issues down pat and knew
how much was "left" after diet control is in place.
She’s young and to use insulin to do what doet can do would be a mistake
IMO - she will be MUCH healthier all round - longterm too - on the kind
of diet that I am referring to, or I would not suggest it:-)
