Undenatured whey

is one of the the most profoundly curative foods
on the planet. It’s the whey part of milk, minus most of the
aggravating specie-specific factors that a few people have a
problem with.

The difference between UNdenatured and denatured is that the
undenatured has had glutathione precursors carefully preserved,
while denatured whey has had glutathione precursors broken during
pasteurization and mechanical agitation. Glutathione is the
body’s master antioxidant and detoxifier, and also a component of
the Krebs energy (ATP) cycle in the cells.

The significance is that glutathione is always high in wellness
and low in disease and degeneration; low glutathione promotes a
low immune response and stimulates infection, autoimmune

disorders, mitochondrial disorders and resultant wasting, age-
related degeneration, asthma, COPD, arthritis and other
inflammatory illnesses and generally a failure to thrive. It’s
also an anti-aging tool; ALL centenarians tested had high
glutathione levels.

Nearly all of a diabetic’s concerns about oxidative stress-
related complications such as renal failure, blindness,
peripheral arterial disease, cardiovascular issues and such have
at their core a condition of depleted glutathione (and other
antioxidants?), and when glutathione is maintained a lot of that
goes away or is prevented. Glutathione regenerates many
antioxidants so they can be re-used so lower anioxidant levels
can be somewhat compensated for with higher glutathione.

Undenatured whey blows away a few popular myths:

>> that "animal protein" is acid-producing; the opposite is the
case with undenatured whey, an animal protein. The alkalizing
effect allows better oxygen transport to the cells among other
things.

>> that animal protein is hard to digest; whey is more easily
assimilated than any other plant or animal protein, requiring
almost no digestion. Undenatured whey isolate is number one on
the list as the highest biological value protein, aboout twice as
bioavailable as vegetable or meat protein.

Undenatured whey is nutritious and well assimilated even by those
with compromized digestion as it contains amino acids that heal
leaky gut syndrome plus factors that suppress unwanted bacterial
growth that causes most cases of compromized bowel such as
Crohn’s disease, colitis, IBS and SIBO.

Undenatured whey is also a metabolic enhancer, good for building
lean tissue and organs. The glutathione produced is recognized as
an immunomodulator, which means it can improve either an
autoimmune or a slack immune response. Undenatured whey is
generally well tolerated by milk-sensitive individuals.

Undenatured whey can be had with almost no lactose and no sugar,
flavours or color. The purist might appreciate that some brands
are filtered and not hydrolyzed so do not contain MSG, and some
whey is from cows that have never been exposed to pesticides,
antibiotics or growth factor injections.
