Bitter Melon extract

I eat bitter melon every day to help with my type II diabetes. When it
goes out of season I may have trouble finding it. Will bitter meoln
extract (in pill form) suffice? Is it as effective as the whole fruit?

    Where do you get it from? I am looking for a mail order source as I live in
