it has been awhile since i have posted on here. so i will give you an
update on me. all last weekend i did not feel well at all. and actually
i still dont feel well. on thursday night i went to bed and started
having some shortness of breath and it went away after awhile. but when
i awoke friday i was fatigued and weak and that lasted all weekend long
and i also felt nauseous and close to losing my lunch. and yesterday my
sugar was good i had a 146 and a 215 which is good for me. but i went
to the med van to get some medication and discussed the weekend with
the doctor and an ekg showed that i have another block on the left side
of my heart. but the doc said i didnt need to go to the er. i really am
not having that much chest pain and the pain doesnt radiate anywhere
but being diabetic when we have symptoms of a heart attack diabetes
will mask some of those symptoms. so just keep me in your prayers and i
will update whats going on as soon as possible take care and god

I agree but walnuts and almonds do not have "too much" omega-6 and we DO
need omega-6 as well as the omega-3'as which I like to get from fish oil.

There we are in full agreement.
The only vegetable oil to use is Extra virgin olive oil - mainly for the
omega-9 (oleic acid) and powerful antioxidant content. This is very
anti-inflammatory unlike most veg oils. (It's why all those
Meditterannean types are so healthy compared with Americans!)

As long as you don't forget the basics, Greg; cold-processed
whey, potassium salts on the table instead of table salt,
calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, wild fish oil, and liver flushes.

How about plenty of water, a super green food supplement, cinnamin, garlic,
onions, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Add in beans and legumes, and some nut
butter. Would that be a good start. Greg

Most of my work is in detoxification, antioxidants and
nutritional balance. Most who begin with that find they start
getting better and may need no drugs or designer herbs to cover
their symptoms.

I second Rachel's post; I've also seen a lot of people go for the
fad supplements, some of which might normally do something if one
wasn't malnourished and carrying a large toxin load.

Oh Rachel,
What herbologist did you consult?

Herbs can be very un-subtle and a good herbologist knows his/her
phytochemistry well enough to give you a gentle herbal detox for
example, though my preference is of course for a homeopathic level
detox. It is gentler but more powerful.

A good herbologist (and it takes many years of study to become one) is
not fighting it - the herbs are used to *help* your excretory organs and
eumunctories to eliminate the toxins. But to do it properly the herbs
should be selected for you specifically. For example my own detox uses 6
different herbs at two different potencies each, selected in herb type
and potency for my specific situation. It took a few weeks on the regime
(about 6) to get rid of about 20 lbs of edema for example.
<!--more-->

> Now, many people need something
> stronger like a drug to combat all the toxins within us.

No just a more competent homeopath or herbologist.
There are way too many pretend ones who have no degree or proper formal
qualification in their profession!!!

No. The more out of balance we are, the more well matched the herbs or
homeopathy has to be to our specific situation - and it takes a
professional level of competence to do the matching - guesswork and
anecdote magazine stories will not cut it.
"Stronger things" are more than likely adding a new layer of suppression
and not doing any detox.
A correctly selected gentle detox is permanent too - you don't have to
keep re-doing it (each time the suppression fails!)

Namaste,

I agree with you Rachel in a general sense but I'd like to point
out that once one is detoxified and has the correct nutrition
including supplements, the herbs are not needed for their desired
effect anyway.

I disagree with the notion that herbs are subtle.

Hey Rachel
yes i did get the results of the mri. and they showed i have
arthritis. but last friday i had a docs appointment and i missed
because i wasnt feeling well and overslept and yesterday i called the
doc to make another appointment and the billing company has frozen my
account with the doctor so i cant make another appointment because
they say i owe $320 and when i pay that i can make another
appointment. like who do they think they are to refuse seeing you
because you owe them money since when did the docs become so greedy
if they dont get paid they dont see you like what has this world come
too. well hope you have been doing well take care and have a great
weekend kirk
