control, prevented oxidative stress, normalized levels of organic
peroxides, and activated superoxide dismutase. The
pharmacodynamic effect of ozone in the treatment of patients with
neuroinfectious diabetic foot can be ascribed to the possibility
of it being a superoxide scavenger. Superoxide is considered a
link between the four metabolic routes associated with diabetes

Re: type 1 diabetics off insulin

Thursday, February 22nd, 2007

No, but I met 1 and heard of a few other Type I (juvenile) diabetics who got
off insulin by maintaining a RAW foods diet; others by taking digestive
enzymes (www.drwong.us/ArchivedTreatingDiabetes.htm) [on empty stomach].

Re: test results — cholesterol, BP, toxins, longevity

Tuesday, February 20th, 2007

Congrats Linda!

Your HDL/total cholesterol is better than 1:4 optimal.

Your BP may be better controlled and possibly reduced by
cleansing toxin load such as by doing liver flushes and inulin to
control bad bowel bacteria, a 24/7 toxin producer. Also, because
any stressor, the most common being toxin load and malnutrition,
increases blood pressure, the minerals magnesium and potassium,
with vitamin b complex and extra niacin, may help a lot. This
might seem only like a guess but the numbers are with me; most
people are low on magnesium and potassium and their depletion
results in health effects pretty quickly. I use "No Salt"
potassium instead of salt; salt is an excellent potassium
depletor and I avoid salting my food with it.

Sunday, February 11th, 2007

Hey Group
just wanted to drop a post since i havent for a few days because i have
been babysitting a freinds kid. anyways this year has been one of many
challenges. like in march i had a very severe pneumonia and also keto
acidosis at the same time and i ended up in the hospital for almost 2
weeks. and then last month i had a kidney stone which passed
successfully. and then thursday i went to the doctor because i have
been complaining about pain in my right arm for the last year and 3
months and i could get nothing done about it. well this time my doctor
had xrays taken of my neck on thursday when i went. and on friday the
doctor called me at my house and said that the xrays show i have a
compressed fracture of my spine. and that i have to undergo an mri to
see what the damage is or how bad the injury is. and i will update that
info when i get the mri results after i have it. anyways i would like
you all to keep me in your prayers and i hope everyone is doing well

Reducing BS w/out meds

Friday, February 9th, 2007

I bought — I hope I can spell this right — Syzygium Jambolanum
mother tincture, and I have been sipping it in water all day. I have a
homeopath in London who recommended it because I want to try to avoid
drugs, if possible. I am taking much less than the recommended amount
because I want to see how I react to it. So far….a week….my bs
is down about 30 points, from the low 160’s to the low 130’s.
When I started the low carb diet, I was using Bernstein’s
carb amounts - 6,12,12. I am glad I was testing with Ketostix…btw,
to save money I cut each one in half and they work just as well. W/in
two days I was in ketosis, not ketoacidosis, so heavily that the strips
were as purple as they can get. I felt awful, and I had to add more
carbs. I don’t know how many I am eating now, but the test strips are
