Mr Hjazi wrote me privately also about selling ganoderma.

My reply was esentially that although ganoderma and the other
mushrooms and many plants containing polysaccharides are indeed
healthy and can be part of a normal healthy diet, the research
revealed only a detectable increase in white blood cell count and
activity...

THEN AN EXTRACT WAS USED

In the research, white blood cell activity could indeed be
increased with several of these extracts, generally by around 15%
to 43%.

In combination, particularly with animal transfer factors, the
<!--more-->
number goes much higher. 4Life Research combined several of these
extracts with their patented transfer factors that are extracted
from egg yolk and colostrum, and came up with products that
increase natural killer cell activity by up to 437% -- more than
four times the activity of NK cells alone, in addition to an
immune system activity cascade that has not been adequately
quantified.

Using their Transfer Factor Plus Advanced Formula in their
program, people have eliminated cancer in a month or two (thats a
job NK cells do). This might interest people on the diabetescured
lists because diabetics have a markedly increased cancer risk.

TF also produces direct immunity that only animal products can
confer, and it's an immunomodulator that tapers off an overactive
and autoimmune response, also a concern for many, diabetics
included.

Bottom line is ganoderma and the other mushrooms, if not purified
for health purposes, really belong in the supermarket.
