Re: OT–Milk & breastfeeding
I couldn’t agree more. In addition to the enormous health benefits of
breastfeeding,
Neuropsychologist James Prescott reportedly found a 97% correlation between
whether or not a society is "violent" and the following:
1. INFANTS ARE CARRIED (on mother’s body) for the 1st yr of life (the
strongest correlate).
2. Children are breastfed [preferably] until at least age 2 1/2.
For a more precise account of his findings, see the resources below.
I wish to emphasize the matter of breastfeeding is separate from the matter
of whether or not milk is healthy for adults (or even for children
post-weaning). Many people strongly believe in breastfeeding but believe

all milk is.

that consumption of dairy products after weaning is unhealthy.

Then I’m fascinated to learn how healthy "toxic waste" can be, being that
some individuals have reportedly lived for years if not decades (in great
health, recovering from various diseases) on nothing but raw (animal) milk
(Schmid, 2004), and at least 1 indigenous society lived essentially on raw
milk and blood, in exceptional health (Price cited in westonaprice.org),

people get away with doing all sorts
of stupid things. roast mice used to
be the drug of choice for measles.
and look at that guy who annoyed tigers
for 20,000 performances for a living.
i want the names of anyone who lived for >"years, if not decades" etc.
on milk alone.

Dennis,
It appears you have made up your mind, so what difference does it make
the evidence Leonard might give you?
By the way, I am personally not a dairy consumer for most of the
reasons that you cite. I do have Patrick Lecky’s book and he cites
numerous reasons, scientific and anecdotal as to the efficacy of raw
milk products. In his book, one of his interviews is with Dr Ron
Schmid, who advocates "one to three quarts of raw clabbered milk from
grass-fed animals a day" for his type -2 diabetics. He claims that
this alone stabilizes the blood sugar of most diabetics and aids in
the healing of the pancreas. For most of his patients this alone
allows them to get completely off all meds.
Now, I don’t want to consume milk for all the reasons that you cite.
I do recognize there can be benefits. One major benefit is
probiotics. But the key here is RAW and GRASS FED. I would rather
eat the raw grass and get the nutrition from a different route.
Any substance can be a poison or a medicine in the right situation. I
know a Yogi who was consuming arsenic. Why? I have no idea, but he
is alive and kicking today. Also very perceptive and healthy. Who
can say?

3 quarts of spoiled milk a day?
i’ll try chia seed first, than-Q.
a doctors advocacy doesn’t mean much
to me these days. my doctor advocates that i
take the medicines she prescribes, even though there
are caveats about heart and blood pressure conditions
being fatal in conjunction with said medicines. i have both.
it was doctors prescribing the roast mice.
it was doctors who first experimented with
gassing and burning people. it was considered humane.
blood faeces pus bacteria steroids hormones and other chemicals,
dissolved in lactose, milk fat and water. i just can’t see anything but
a lose/lose proposition there.

Not possible. There’s insufficient iron for one.
even babies can’t manage on milk alone past 6 months due to iron deficiency.

the human body can withstand unbelieveable
amounts of crud and not die. most people do it every time they eat.
however the ability to survive toxic crud doesn’t mean that
toxic crud is what makes us healthy.
you just happend to luck out.
