I would be very interested in any good results you get from anything
mentioned in the books. Like you I was on a lot of meds and some for the
same conditions you mention. I am off all the meds now based on normal labs
and my doctors advice. She did a 30 day follow up to insure what I was doing
really was responsible for the vast improvement. I have been well
controlled ever since. It took a total dietary makeover but I think it was
worth it. I put what I am doing on the NutriCoach web site and it will cost
you nothing to find out how I did it, no membership fees or anything. All I
ask for is a voluntary donation similar to National Public Radio if you find
the site very valuable and wish to help keep it going.

I bought Chappell’s book on the Natural Diabetes "Cure"
I also bought Trudeau’s book on "Natural Cures."

I’ve not gotten too far with Trudeau’s book. So far 6 chapters cry-babying
about the AMA, FDA and FTC, No doubt SOME of it is true, but SIX BLEEDING
CHAPTERS??? Makes me WONDER if this guy is for real or just another
charlatan/huckster?

THEN www. when he gets down to "brass tacks," he mentions a procedure or
additve or widget which is immediately followed by " see my website
naturalcures.com" which is (IN)conveniently a SUBSCRIPTION site! DUH! Like a
fool I paid full pop for this book. Should have tried Half-Price-Books or
even Amazon.com!

Chappel mentions 6 herbals and one mineral which have/are/can be/should be
(pick one) used to control/cure Diabetes:

Cinnamon, Fennugreek, Bitter Melon, Gymnema S., Nopal Cactus, American
Ginseng & Chromium.

Unfortunately the QUANTITIES and FREQUENCY are not revealed.

Now, I KNOW from years of reading. researching and using it that 500 mcg
of Chromium Piccolinate is the "recommended" amount.

I tke the Cinnamon too. So far no decrease in my blood sugar from that, I
ll add other comonents slowly to see the result.

Anybody have data on the others?

BTW. Chappell’s book has a wealth of knowledge and a great bibliography on
other NATURAL HEALTH Guides, books, sources and etc.

He has his OWN product line too. He unabashedly pitches his own stuff,
very straigfht forward, BUT he tells you WHAT IS IN IT, so now you have
ALTERNATIVE SOURCES rather than having to PAY to read his recommendations.

BTW I negotiated the $29.95 price to $24.95 + S&H and saved a wgopping $5.
Hey, that’s two bottles of Chomium Pic…..
I’d REALLY love to get off ALL 5 medds I am on, (Hypertension, Diabetes)
and find alternatives for my Gout and Osteoarthritis pain.

note that there is a distinct vibe of "Business Opportunity" there(as
in the quote, below from the site).
Are you promoting your distributorship?If so this needs to be made
clear to the others. You may well have a good thing here, but I’m not
sure that promoting a business here is in keeping with group rules
Also, the site sells a DVD or VHS choice.many people no longer have
VHS VCRSs. Will you offer the DVD version free as well, or is your
free offer of the VHS essentially a close-out?. If you can offer a
free copy of the DVD, I’m interested in looking at it.
