FW: Re: diabetes has many causes - regeneration

Most people are Type O blood; borage is contraindicated for that blood
type (as is evening primrose) but I agree the addition of a little GLA
along with plenty fish oil and suggest blackcurrant oil as a source.

I agree except I’d skip the coconut and palm as well :-) I’d add extra virgin olive oil, fresh nuts and seeds and rice bran.
A lot of good oil is important to replace bad fats:-)

Hi Irene,

I don’t have the "Eat Right 4 Your Type" book but in doing some research I
see where tomatoes are OK but ketchup is not. Is that because of the sugars
or does he specify? I am O Neg with an RH Factor. I eat a lot of foods
cooked in Virgin Coconut Oil that is apparently a no-no according to what I
have read. I have also started cooking quite a bit lately with Cauliflower
(Faux Potato) and I saw where that is also forbidden. If you know the answer
without having to look it up, I would appreciate it. Mayonnaise and Kechup
(both homemade] has been pretty much a stand-by for me.

  1. Dave Smith Says:

Hi KAt - From memory - It may have vinegar in it which is an avoid?

Depends if you are a secretor. Coconut oil is okay for O nonsecretors.
(It needs a special blood test to know if you are secretor of blood type
    antigens or non-secretor.)

I cook in EV olive oil.

Both home-made with compliant ingredients are fine.
I make my mayonnaise with extra virgin olive, and egg yolk and add
crushed red pepper (black pepper is avoid unless fresh ground)

    Namaste,
