OT Insurer wants woman’s crash settlement

Friday, May 12th, 2006

Although WalMart is being blamed for this, it’s the insurance companies that are
behind these types of actions, and not just at WalMart.

Now the Shanks face a new obstacle. Her Wal-Mart health insurance plan wants the
lawsuit money to repay its costs.
Last week, the health plan sued Debbie Shank in federal court in St. Louis,
demanding the full $417,000 she got in the civil suit - plus at least $51,000
more from the share that already went to lawyers and costs.
A suit such as this is not uncommon, and is a way for self-financed health plans
- employer and union-funded plans - to recoup medical expenses, say lawyers who
handle health and insurance law.

Stevia

Wednesday, May 10th, 2006

Has anyone had any experience with this ’sweetner’ and how it affects diabetics?
I am currently using Splenda, which I really like, but am interested in Stevia
as a more natural product.

Thanks In Advance

type 1 info

Monday, May 8th, 2006

please read this info for those still arguing the cause.

diabetes (type 1) can be triggered by many things, but what actually causes it
is:

the person is born with a bad gene, they are predisposed to it, and its set off
by an infection, there is a lot of speculation on what type of infection does
it, normally is claimed that mycotoxins do it.

however in people with auto immune diseases like diabetes and cancer, they have
a higher count of white blood cells with the surface protein tnf-a (tumor
necrosis factor alpha) what this protein does is rally antibody’s to fight
infection, but because its a primitive and genetically mutated cell it cant tell
the difference between good and bad tissue and attacks the pancreas.

autoimmune disease and age-related degeneration protocol updated

Monday, May 8th, 2006

I’ve finally updated and mounted the protocol online
as an html so it’s prettier and the links into the
references are clickable.

It essentially points out that some illnesses are called
age-related degenerative conditions because of these
co-factors:

1) Damage accumulates as production of glutathione,
an antioxidant that is also an integal part of energy
production, falls. Glutathione is also depleted in illness,
injury, inflammation, infection, and other free radical or
toxin load.

2) The immune system degenerates as the thymus

Re: water fast

Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006

Hi,

I am currently reading a book called "The bodies many cries for water". It
basically says that all of everyone’s health problems could be attributed to
dehydration. It talks about how we have lost our ability to know when we are
thirsty because of all the processed foods we’ve injested. It goes along with
the water cure. The Dr. who wrote the book (he has a few out) says that most of
us are dehydrated and water along with sea salt will in fact cure most of us. It
does say it can take several months to become hydrated. To those of you who
have water fasted, I was just wondering if it is the water fast that has helped
you improve or the addition of more water. I have been drinking about a gallon a
day for the last week. My bg is better (that doesn’t mean good) than it has been
so I am going to continue with my drenching.
