What is Konnyaku? A Japanese Traditional Marvelous Hidden Health Foo

I was preparing some for my miso soup and thought of you Irene and the
others here who want natural foods that have no carbohydrates. This is
one is quite something. I was introduced to it in a japanese cooking
class in holland and now buy it here in little squares or in noodles in
japanese shops but there is much more being done with it!

you know I am so surprised too that no one commented on the links I
posted about some of the things I found online like Banaba - a
traditional phillipino herb. I am looking into it now - it is known
there are natural insulin. And I have been pursuing the research on the
insulin patch and oralin - all could be amazing!

and now also the Enar to restimulate the pancreas and other organs. I
will keep you posted!

    I wonder if it is available anywhere here, I’ll check the oriental market.

    Please do - I am currently starting a regime of fenugreek, noni extract
    and sugarban (mostly gymnema sylvestre, also Chromium, grapefruit
    pectin, pullulan and acidophilus)

    yes - tend to be more japanese stores, sometimes korean. I did find it
    in a chinese shop where it was marked with the english translation of
    rice noodles but they told me the chinese writing said konnyaku yam and
    when I opened it it smelled like it. It has a strong smell but once
    rinsed and cooked or in soup it loses that.
