need some help

Sunday, November 6th, 2005

Hello,
I need any and all information regarding diabetes and pregnancy. My Gyn thinks I
might be pregnant, but won’t know for sure, until a couple of weeks. He ’swears’
I’m pregnant eventhough the urine test came out negative, however, I’ve only
missed my period for two weeks.
Thanks again for all your help.

Re: Digest Number 1101

Friday, November 4th, 2005

I fully resent this posting on the following basis, partially: We
Americans rallied for years for ‘cheaper’ health care so everybody can
‘afford’ it. Now that we have it in the form of HMO’s a/k/a managed
care, people are upset now that it takes months for service in certain
areas. We find it easier to take drugs for our type 2 in lieu of eating
a healthier diet and lose weight. We find it convenient to make excuses
for not making our children eat a basic vegetarian diet and exercise in
order to prevent childhood obesity and teenage bulimia etc.

We find it easier to blame the Government for healings we can do for
ourselves. What gives here? Americans now want access to total health
care for little or no charges, without understanding what the full
ramifications are, such as years wait for transplants, proper ‘drugs’
etc… just as long as it is free and we do not bear any responsibility
in this area for our own sake.

for linda , and question on laser

Wednesday, November 2nd, 2005

hi linda, your response was refreshing. i have been taken insulin for 16
years and have been all over the place. if i taried to keep mine around 70
i would be shaking and having many lows. doctors do cause a lot of anxiety
for some of us. sometimes i hate to go to a doctor, because they make me
feel like a bad little girl when i do go. anyhow, has anyone had laser
surgery for bleeding in you eye? i am concered about the dye that is
injected. does anyone have an experience that twy can share. thanks, ellen
