Proliberator antioxidant

Wednesday, October 5th, 2005

People get lulled into a false sense of security by claims such as
those made on the proliberator websites.

In this case, calling something a stronger antioxidant is immaterial;
every antioxidant gives up just one or two electrons per molecule to
quench free radicals. What is completely missed on sites like these
is that all the antioxidants work togther; each has a strength that
is often not coverd as well by the others.

ProLiberator does not increase glutathione. Glutathione is the one
antioxidant you can’t live without, even if all the rest are present.
When a person’s levels are low, there is degeneration, illness and
death. You can not say that for any other antioxidant.

ProLiberator also does not provide a few other antioxidants that are

carb logic flaws

I have to disagree with the above; I’ve seen the studies that showed
that starch increases insulin levels as fast as sugar does. Even my
non-diabetic clients are going no-grain, no potatoes, no starches or
gravies, and no sugar, even to the point of eschewing some of the
sweeter natural fruit juices we have available today.

They still get plenty of carbs on a natural diet i.e. the variety
that could be harvested before man started growing crops. In the
process several disorders go away, including candida and arthritis,
and sometimes, diabetes II.

Many disorders go away especially if one also does an overt
detoxification program, and in an aging situation, also increases
repair by using HGH increasers like amino acids blends. Turns out the
disorders related mainly to toxin load, free radical damage, and the

Re: Digest Number 1076

Hi GIna. Welcome to the list.

Reading your post (below), I think you need to understand the pancreas burning
out is an involved complication of another incidious problem most Type II’s have
(99%). This is called Insulin Resistant Hyperinsulinemia (Syndrome X). Do a
search and educate yourself on this, because this is why you are having these
crashes. Your pancreas burned out because your body doesn’t absorb the sugars
in your blood, which then in turn build up and force the pancreas to match the
highly elevated blood sugars with a like amount of insulin. This forces the
pancreas to overproduce and burn out. When this happens, you become diabetic.

Your hyperglycemic episodes happen when your body DOES finally catch up and
absorb all of your blood sugars, but you STILL have a very elevated insulin
level which in turn makes you crave carbs, put on weight and want to lay down
and hibernate.

Hey, LeslieKay. I find your observation interesting: >>As you all know even if
you walk a tight line with diabete’s has a way of creeping around and away has
other ways of bring you down.

I’m dealing w/my failings at keeping my sugar in control. Not wanting to accept
insulin injections. Looking back at my past 13 years since diagnosis, diabetes
has been the hulking shadow in almost everything I do. I realized this when you
posted. I kept at the ‘right’ things for so long, and the disease kept creeping
along, doing it’s own thing. Actually, I probably had the disease for years w/o
knowing it. Now, I’m at the end of all the orals, and needing to doctor shop,
since my endo (who specializes in diabetes) has retired private practice to go
