Re: Digest Number 1065

LOL….. Its not all that bad, and I am sorry I don’t post as often anymore…

I think the tendency for people with diabetes is to learn, get out of denial,
then go about their regular lives. This is the reason for the inactivity, but
we are all here, and will address ANY question you may have.

I found I actually learned the most from the larger lists, such as Diabetes_Int,
but THEY feircely fight to have only their opinions given, and get REALLY mean
when something contradictory is stated. Sad and I eventually learned all they
have to learn from them.

This list, if you post a question for more in depth information will give you a
HUGE amount of information. Look through the archives and you WILL learn. You
just need to figure out how to understand the scientific mumble jumble. Its
time consuming and can be quite dry, but once you reach a point in your

education, important. (adivice, check the information on free radicals,
anti-oxidants, and the causes of Insulin Resistance)

I think there are some quibbles that happen, but perhaps thats important to keep
people thinking about whats important. In other lists, this becomes quite
crippling, but on this list, if its pointed out, the people are more mature
admit its part of the discourse. This is the only list I am subscribed to at
this point because of this.

I am sorry to hear your opinion about the "spam", but personally I have found
the spam to be informative too. Intelligent people can select the fact from
the fiction, use it as a sounding board for research, and learn from it.

A Grassroot Movement is like a lawn; there is a bigger picture we all like to
see…. but underneath there are many small roots. Each root has an influence
on the entire picture. We too can have an effect, we just need to figure out
the efficient way to do it.

If interested, check out my list..
