i think it is what you are eating that causes the insulin resistance, and
weight gain. my diabetes started this way and i was 125pounds at 5' 6'' twenty
two years ago. i ate a lot of sugar , but was very active, so did not gain
weight. i also eat lots of fruits, veggies, fish etc. before i pigged out. i
am 128 pounds now, and not as active. i think many people are looking for a
reason for weight gain, and it is what they are putting into their mouth.
people need to educate themselves about nutrition, and start eating more
fruits and veggies. some people ;may not like what i have said, but i have
met diabetics that are very over weight and are look ing for a simple excuse
for their weight gain. i wish i could loose weight and get off insulin, as
many of them can. i know losing is not easy. i have know people that have
lost their extra pounds and are now off insulin, and no longer have diabetes.
i think that is wonderful. i do not want to offend any one, but i probably
have. i just had to say this. ellen

> think I will puke next time I see an article that says fat people cause
> their own Type II when its the Insulin Resistance that makes them overweight.
>

Hi Chris.... I don't understand this ..... ?

(I still have that report on Insulin Resistance on my list of things to do,
just haven't gotten around to ordering it. I've put it on my To Do list for
tomorrow.)
