danger of being diabetic. He said I have alot of sore muscles in my legs. They
ache alot & I have to use Icy hot rubs.almost daily.I do have a job standing
on my feet for 7/8 hrs a day…Any suggestions. He tells me to exercise but when
I do the treadmill now I can barely walk…..Would butchers broom help.the
Dr. told me to use
glucosamine sulfate 1000 mg.to rebuild cartiladge.I know some herbs are not
good they say they can kill you…..
GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS & GOD BLESS YOU

Hello Debra,
Sorry to hear you are having knee & leg pains.
There are many components to the question that you are asking. What did the
doctor say when you made that statement "… how can I exercise when the
treadmill hurts my knees, legs BADLY so it hurts more when I exercise …"
What did they suggest?
Exercising in a water environment is the ~ideal solution~, IF you have
access to an indoor pool. There are other solutions too however for rasing
the heart rate, that’s pretty high on the proverbial list….
As far as losing weight, is an absolute necessity for most people (generic I
grant you). To the degree we can alter the weight, in whatever sensible
manner we can do so, it will take time, but the sooner we get into
intelligent healthy habits the better our health should become……
Sorry no magic wand here for you, wish we did….
What amount of weight are you aiming-hoping to loose? What kind of time
frame are you allowing….
I will take for granted you have a strong understanding of what you are
eating that is helpful toward losing weight (ie much smaller portions) more
vegetables, water, fruits, etc., etc. and less of the tasty junk (sic.
garbage)that can be very tempting… but not good for the weight loss idea ;
). Again, nothing magical in that view but critical importance to affecting
what factors we CAN directly affect. (i.e. monitor things we can effect that
might contribute to our weight….)
Luck….
