Re: Digest Number 965

Thanks Jewel, you are always so helpful, but my request is for how it works, as
in what are the major chemical elements and what drug interactions might happen.
My interest is in replacing my sulph (glucutrol) with something that won’t burn
my pancreas out. If Butchers Broom directly stops Insulin Resistance (IR) also,
I will celebrate with a hot fudge sundae today!!

My Pharmacist had a book that was general, and described it as a possible
analgesic. This description you just put in (below) kind of reinforces this. It
also implies it could be a blood thinner also.

Drug interactions are important, because with herbal remedies, there is no
control over dosage. It can vary from plant to plant, and with the freshness of
the plant. To know what it is and how it works should be the first question
anybody using alternative cures should ask before using said cure.

Thanks again Jewell, you are a jewel..;O)

  1. John Smith Says:

    Chris,

I to want to get off my Glucatrol.
I have taken it twice a day for 10 years,
and I am just now learning after purchasing and
reading Dr. Bernstein’s book how bad it is !!

And, I to agree, Jewel is such a dear, and so helpful.
I am very thankful for her.
