Flu Shots
It’s time of year again for the flu shots, so the Dr. has told
me for the past ten years…because I’m diabetic.
Are they really necessary? I am fealing so much better, and I don’t
want to upset my system if not necessary.
How about some of you…do you all take the flu shots or not?

Hi. No, I sure don’t take flu shots. I use homeopathic remedies for
illness for myself and family. A good homeopath can cure what ails
you without side effects. You can fairly easily educate yourself into
how to use basic remedies for home care of common illnesses, if you
have the right books. Look into how immunizations are made and flu
shots in particular. That was enough to stop me from ever wanting
one. Tell your doctor you are allergic to eggs and he/she’ll stop
bugging you about getting them (if that’s what you want, of
course)…,.Linda

Personally, I get the shot, but its free to me. If I had to pay the $20 plus it
costs for us here in the Armpit of Hell, I wouldn’t. Annie, below comments on
something I think they should educate the public further on. When you get the
Flu shot, it protects you from a list of varieties of the flu they have
identified and created preventative cures for, but not all of them. The flu is
a quickly changing virus, mutating yearly and the innoculations don’t always
cover every one that is going around…. just the ones you probably already have
had and won’t ever get again.
Just a thought

EVERY year, the doc says to get the flu shot. I took his advice about
5 years ago, and still got sick. Never got the shot again, and still
get sick.
