Acid & Alkaline

Tuesday, May 24th, 2005

I did not find a chart that listed Lemons.
Which are they?
I do have one every day in my water, to help get it down!
Opinions wanted…Do you think that is a good thing to do since I have
diabetes?
Thanks

>CLUE FOR A CURE: "I believe the main source of the intestinal fluke
is undercooked meat and dairy products. After we are infected with it
this way, we can give it to each other through blood, saliva, semen,
and breast milk, which means kissing on the mouth, sex, nursing, and
childbearing."

From the Viewpoint, where medical professionals talk on diabetes:

scientists are striving to gain new insights into mechanisms that
govern fat cells, called adipocytes."

Re: Acid - Alkaline

Friday, May 20th, 2005

I’ve been reading a lot about the ph balance of our bodies. I keep
reading over and over that a body that is acid is the root cause of diseases
such
as diabetes and cancer. But, the foods that are the most acid - proteins, are
the ones we are told to eat the most of on a low carb diet, and the foods
that are the most alkaline - fruits - are of course high in natural sugar that
we
cannot eat except in very small amounts. So how do we get from acid to
alkaline …. anyone know?

Re: Zone Diet

Thursday, May 19th, 2005

Has anyone ever gone on the Zone diet? I’m always totally skeptical
of testimonials for any diet, or anything for that matter, given by people who
are advertising a product. But I have been reading a message board tonight
from people around the world about the Zone who have nothing invested in it,
where both Type 1 and Type 2 people said that it normalized their blood sugar
levels within the first week. Type 1’s said it reduced their insulin need
quickly, within the first 2 weeks, and then didn’t need any at all within 6
weeks, I
think it was, a very short time anyway, and all their bloodwork i.e. lipid
levels and high blood pressure went to normal, shocking their doctors. They
said this was after years of staying on the ADA diet and getting progressively
worse. Everything reversed. Type 2’s said their doctors no longer considered
them diabetic after being on the Zone for about 6 months, and that they even
strayed from it from time to time with no jump in their blood sugar, as if it
had re-set to normal. Besides the normalizing of blood sugars, the other

Re: Inquiring Minds~ reply

Hi Cris, Good question. I truly don’t have an answer but if it works I don’t
care how it works. The end result is the answer we care about. We were told
that the cancer in Calvins lungs couldn’t be healed and it a now there are no
signes he ever had cancer. How it healed we don’t care about only that it did
heal and that he is free of that problem. If you have any answers I would
love to read about them. Inquiring minds want to know. Closed minds never get
new information or healed. Blessings, Sandy and Calvin
