Invitation
Hi Guys. Here is the group description of an
alternate ‘diabetescured’ list:
"Refugees from original ‘diabetescured’ list! We are looking beyond
maintainance (although sharing tips for living with diabetes are
welcome), towards CURING our diabetes. We want health! Both type-1
and type-2 welcome. Open minds required! Alternative health theories
and healing arts (see the original diabetescured list description in
the ‘files’ section to the left), personal stories of our experiences
with such, links to relevant research we turn up on the web, Anything
that helps us work with these conditions.
Yes, there are some rules: We are refugees because we are tired of
stress and conflict on our list. We want peace, respect and
fellowship. SO… 1) All members are free to express their views as
long as the tone is good-natured and respectful, 2) In the event of
disagreement or personality conflicts, the people involved will
either ‘agree to disagree’ or take their issue off-list. Rudeness,
sniping, belittling of anyone else’s view is not allowed. Those who
cannot/will not ‘let it go’ will be asked to leave, or forced to
leave if necessary. 3) Please, no spamming or selling. If a product
has helped you personally with your diabetes and you can provide it
to those who are interested in trying it, OK…But take such deals
off-list, 4) Anyone participating in this list is absolutely and
entirely responsible for their own decisions about trying things
discussed here. Diabetes is a serious condition. Don’t blame another
if something you try doesn’t work for you the way it did for someone
else. Nor is anyone here authorized to dictate to another how to
handle their diabetes. We only share our stories of what we have
read/learned/tried that has helped. REPEAT: EACH OF US IS RESPONSIBLE
FOR OUR OWN HEALTH DECISIONS.
Welcome Friends! Now where were we?"
There are now 20 members in Diabetescured2. Those of you who like
the description and want this kind of group, please join us! I guess
one difference is that on this list, there is a bouncer - me! Also, I
am trying to create a resource in the ‘links’ and ‘files’ sections
for new members, full of the various ideas and information we share
on the list. I encourage all interested members to add to it, or make
suggestions. The web address is,

Well, first let me say Hello. I have been with the group for a while
but haven’t felt that I had information that would help. I have to
let you all know that I have learned a great deal from you. I only
found out last year that I have diabetes. I was floored, scared to
death. To tell the truth, I guess I am still sort of in denial.
Please think about how you felt when you found out and how all of
this "PURE JUNK" that is going on would affect somebody that could
otherwise be helped by this group. Even if the group just helped
them by giving them a positive outlook. This is a very serious
thing, not to be taken lightly. By saying this, I am not talking
about the disease, I am talking about people having to be right. It
doesn’t matter who is right or who is wrong. I turned to this group
for help, input, to learn what all of you know. Just because I wanted
to make my life better. What if the troublemaking keeps somebody from
getting the help they need? Somebody that has diabetes just simply
ought to know better than to cause problems with this group. They
should have a desire to help others.
Duncan, if you are still receiving these messages, please know that I
appreciate all of your efforts very much. You seem very intelligent
and knowledgable. I don’t know whether or not you have diabetes
but either way it takes an incredible amount of time to provide
the information and answer the questions that you have. I don’t care
if you are selling vitamins, minerals, information or nothing at all.
It doesn’t matter to me. Just the fact that you care enough to give
your time to this group is very thoughtful. It has meant a lot to me
to know that there are many alternatives.
God bless all of you,
Mistee

I’m back; thank you for the support on and off-list; there aren’t
enough people on the other list anyway.
I’d like to assure everyone that I’ve had much more heated
discussions that the little pokes I got from Jewell, and though the
group is not as harmonius as some would like, I can tolerate it.
Like most people though I prefer informed discussion to uninformed
pronouncements, and I can see Jewell is working towards being the
best kind of skeptic - an informed one. Right Jewell?
Misty and others, I do sell a few very important products — a few
of them are posted on my web site — but my main business is
information, and I’m doing my part to use it to effect social
change. Obviously medicine has hit the wall in most diseases, and
it only took our society half a century to find out that
"alternative and natural" methods were always better.
I do my homework; you can see that by the reams of scientific stuff
posted on my site. The products I sell I could not find in the
health food store. I investigate each one and I can back it up or I
won’t mention it over generics that are nearly as good and readily
available.
In the case of the SomaLife gHP, I found out about it from anti-
aging specialists, doctors who are not marketers, who have
consistent results with it as an HGH increaser.
They are the ones who tell us repeatedly that the islet cells can
be regenerated as long as there are any left. The science bears
this out with increased insulin production and decreased
supplementary under the therapy - and islet cell transplants to
seed the area are just starting out, which further bears this part
of the science out. This is of particular interest to type II
people.
Of course, the cholesterol, weight, osteoporosis, blood pressure,
cardiac and renal function, neural sheath repair, muscle tone, fat
loss and such are all part of well-researched literature on HGH and
amino acids.
I know we can stop diabetic complications; they are diet and
antioxidant-related. Also in the science. And we can also
normalize an autoimmune problem that might be involved in killing
islet cells. I don’t think I discussed that yet.
So there’s more - stay tuned.
If anyone wants a perspective on a therapy off-list, they can
always write.
