Invitation

Hi Guys. Here is the group description of an
alternate ‘diabetescured’ list:

"Refugees from original ‘diabetescured’ list! We are looking beyond
maintainance (although sharing tips for living with diabetes are
welcome), towards CURING our diabetes. We want health! Both type-1
and type-2 welcome. Open minds required! Alternative health theories
and healing arts (see the original diabetescured list description in
the ‘files’ section to the left), personal stories of our experiences
with such, links to relevant research we turn up on the web, Anything
that helps us work with these conditions.
Yes, there are some rules: We are refugees because we are tired of
stress and conflict on our list. We want peace, respect and
fellowship. SO… 1) All members are free to express their views as
long as the tone is good-natured and respectful, 2) In the event of

Strange Pattern?

Monday, March 28th, 2005

I was wondering if someone could give me some feedback if they have
the same strange pattern or recognize it partly, at least. I have
been having fasting glucose levels over 170, but when I eat, it drops
to a low reading within an hour after I eat. I was mostly getting the
high readings in the middle of the night, when I would wake up sick,
but now it seems to be during the day, also. Does anyone have any
kind of advice or possible explanation? Also, I know when my sugar is
high before I test it. I can tell because I get sick and dizzy… I
would appreciate any
feedback I could receive.

Thanks!

not just ANY snake oil salesman

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2005

Check your history…..without government controls to
some degree we are open to every snake oil salesman
that comes along, being against a person having a
degree is one thing , saying that a person who sells
medical advice without any schooling - that is a
sham— some of the best salesman in this alternative
medicine

Come now, did I say that????? I THINK NOT.

In this age of advanced education and technology, we are able to research and
corroborate every bit of information to establish its validity. A tangental
conversation happening I am sure you have seen, is the one where people who
stand to gain (monetarily) are endorsing a product. We are able to actually see

Duncan, about immunocal

Monday, March 21st, 2005

hey Duncan,
I ordered the Immunocal and it is on it’s way but now I reread the
site and I am wondering if I need it because I drink 2 cups of full
raw milk every day now. Would that be sufficient for glutathione
precursors, do you think?
Thanks for your opinion, Pam

Education & accreditation IMHO

Saturday, March 19th, 2005

Funny how I usually find what people learn at medical school is what the
pharmaceutical companies and the current medical powers that be want
them to learn. Does that really mean they know stuff? Or that they know
what they are doing?? Even more importantly, does it really mean they
give a whit about me if they aren’t able to make massive bucks off of
some ‘cure’ they have found???? I don’t think so, personally.
And this accreditation thing.. WHO decides what is worthy of
accreditation??? If you really trust the source of it, sure.. but the
GOVERNMENT???? geeeeeez.. talk about putting a fox to watch the hen
house!!
I think every single one of us is thoroughly capable of finding out as
much, if not more (because we aren’t being brain-washed by the drug
cartel!) about truly getting healthy than any one of these ‘accredited’
idiots. NOW if WE are too lazy, naive, foolish, etc., to do our own leg
work and fall for those snake oil sales people, who is really to blame??

Re: Question to Duncan - glutathione

Wednesday, March 16th, 2005

Hi Kady;

Again, glutathione is only somewhat useful only in the blood serum
if it is injected. It does not enter cells as glutathione. 90% is
needed inside the cells.

Immunocal or another "cold processed" whey isolate delivers
glutathione precursors directly to the cells so they can
manufacture their own. The FDA link on the medical references page
on my website goes into detail on that.

It’s the generic glutathione information on that part of the site
that is a valuable health resource.

The "cold-processed" whey I use myself, I get at the store here in

Degree for those who give any kind of
medical advice to the general public and makes an
income from it…Gotta have a degree and a license….

______________________________________________________________________

Although I DO agree there is an improtant level of responsability given to
people who make money from dispensing medical and legal advice, I think we can
all agree the people in this list are attempting to take personal responsability
for their own medical care.

This means that although we will use our Doctors to their fullest ability, we
should also be checking out ALL possibilities, research them and disregard the
garbage as well as accepting the truths. To disregard good advise just because
the person does not have a license is myopic at best. I suppose if you are too

Re: Question to Pam

Thursday, March 10th, 2005

Hi Pam,
In researching how to eliminate your candida, did you find any
information that a very low carb diet will eliminate candida just as well as any
other
type of treatment? In other words, it has to have sugar to thrive and
depriving it of sugar elminates it. I’m thinking I’ve heard that, just
wondering if
you have.
Thanks,
Kady
