Thanks for the helpful information, Duncan! You mention having
success in helping diabetics in various ways…Have you seen much
success with type-1’s? -Seems to be quite a different disease from
type-2 in many ways…yet they share similar symptoms and long-term
challenges. Any info relevant to type-1 would be appreciated, as
there there are a number of us here!
Re. inulin…Are Jerusalem artichokes a reasonable source for this
nutrient? -We just tilled ours in, but I notice they are making a
comeback nonetheless. Maybe I should be treating them with more

Great Olive Oil Scam — article

The great olive oil scam available in stores now

Body Electric

I think everyone knows that extra virgin olive oil is theoretically the
healthiest pourable oil. It is sought after by many who wish to avoid the
huge amounts of free radicals and several resultant degenerative diseases
that are promoted by other pourable oils. But I said ‘theoretically’ for
good reason: a huge scam involving olive oil is being perpetuated by
industry, and until the government controls the situation the fact is
that although the olive oil in the supermarket may be labeled "extra
virgin", there is no guarantee that it even contains olive oil!

I kid you not. A recent study in Italy found that only 40% of the olive
oil brands labeled as "extra virgin" actually met those standards. Italy

Big Biz with a heart, Duncan?? Never happen…

Monday, January 17th, 2005

Not really surprising info, Duncan… a self perpetuating big biz that
didn’t have it’s own best interests at heart… now that *would* be an
oxymoron.. Even if it means killing innocent people with incorrect
information. After handling my grandmother’s estate, I know how much
even people you KNOW and previously might have thought highly of, can
become the worst greed driven harpies imaginable! Why would some person
who works for and/or owns such industries have any care at all for the
fact they may be killing faceless millions of us with misinformation…
just as long as they make their bottom lines. And this isn’t just true
of the pharmaceutical and medical industries .. nooo, not at all.. but
of course they are the ones most impactful on our state of health, or
lack there of, for sure!

Re: glutathione antioxidants / oils

Hi Candace;

The Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Diabetes Association put out a lot of
information that contradicted by the research. The Heart Foundation for example
is not a health organization but a political body, founded originally by
pharmaceutical interests. And because they are well-funded, we hear what they
spend money on to tell us. Of course they want to feed us heart cholesterol and
stroke pills, so they tell us to eat large amounts of oils that guarantee heart
disease and free radical diseases.

But we all have access to the same research. And the researchers who did that
work are telling us that the only way the Foundation can be putting out the
wrong message is by doing it deliberately. The researchers are telling us that
these organizations are killing millions of us with incorrect information.

Inulin

Thursday, January 13th, 2005

I have a long study here that shows using Inulin as a nutritional supplement
feeds the correct bowel flora for a lot of health gains.

Importantly enough for this group, it reduces insulin swings, reduces blood
sugar, improves fecal bulking and improves mineral absorption. It also controls
diarrhea and constipation.

The whole process falls in line with the low-carb diet to improve health both
in diabetics and everyone else.

glutathione antioxidants

There’s a lot of material that points to being able to avoid complicating
factors in diabetes, such as ruining internal organs and eyes with excess
insulin and consequent free radical damage.

Pamela, here is the Dr. Clark info…

I am, however, fairly sure that the medical community isn’t likely to
embrace the methodology and for SURE the pharmaceutical companies
aren’t. I think that is why all of a sudden, Sen. Durbin is introducing
a bill to make any supplement (vitamins, minerals, herbs, amino acids,
etc.) to be put under the FDA’s authority.. god forbid! One complaint
and they can pull even age old remedies off the shelf for up to 8 years
to "study" it… and what better way to convince the the powers that be
that ‘Here look!! These things are dangerous!! WE, the pharmaceutical
companies are the only ones responsible enough to make them!!" In
europe, they have already crammed such a measure down the populations
throat as of June 1st, apparently, despite huge public outcry… and
because of the reciprocal trade agreements we have with them, I am sure
that is another way the government is going to be pushed by the
pharmaceutical companies to try to force us to do the same.

Not too surprised about fungi, etc…

Monday, January 10th, 2005

Dealing with that level of stuff fits in with Dr. Clarks work as well…
part of what she does in her protocols is speak to the very damaging
poisionous effects those very things have. I do believe zapping should
have an effect on the actual organism itself, but a lot of those fungi
and mycotoxins can leave behind a very toxic residue, even after they
die. Part of her more extreme mearsures talk about how to ensure
proper sterilization of food around those things to kill them
effectively without the residue and also she speaks to what things are
just better avoided because there is no safe way to remove them. Funny
how this all fits together, for sure!

Hi Pamela…

Sounds like you are able to do the kind of diet Dr. Clark recommends…
she is a very firm advocate that the toxicity in the things we eat
(processed foods and meats/dairy products especially!) is one very
significant half of what causes all our major illnesses. You might want
to check out Dr. Clark’s work, if you have had this much success with
the one half. In my opinion, you have the harder part already under
control! You could very well be cured of diabetes using the rest of the
Clark protocols!

I myself am not very good with eating healthy, so I manage it from the
other side.. the parasite control part. I do think one of these days
pretty soon I may choose to attack the problem from both sides and gain
a cure for myself. As it is, just managing the parasites, I can eat
fairly normally doing my best to avoid obvious sources of wood alcohol
and such, and stay well within range of a more normal person, although
