		<description>Hi Lynn,
I assume that I am type 2 since I was diagnosed less than a year ago at age 49.
However, I could go without food and still have 200 and 300 readings. With food
I was 400 and 500. I also lost weight and went from my top of 165 to 120. I work
at maintaining my weight at least and not loosing any more. This is why I drink
raw cream to get the fat. Without insulin I was out of control. I have heard
that some people develop type 1 later so I really do not know. I do know that I
was having symptoms for a long time and 6 months before I was diagnosed, I ask
the Dr to test me. The test came back negative at that time. When the symptoms
really got out of control, I used a friends meter and I was 600 plus. I had
severe chemical burns a couple of months prior and I relate it to the chemicals.
Not that I ever ate correctly though. I can say I don't know anyone who ever ate
as much sugar or chocolate as I did. I ate sweet stuff all day long. My weight
is 5 lbs lighter than it has been most of my life. I began putting on weight in
my late 30's and I didn't mind after being skinny all of my life. I am 5'7&#34; so
&lt;!--more--&gt;
165 wasn't that bad. At any rate, my Dr is worthless and I plan on changing but
instead I just have not gone. I have always had a digust for the medical
community with their pill-pushing phylosophy but it is worse now. Something has
changed in my immune system and I intend on changing it back. I don't think
there is a Dr around here who is willing to help me do that.
Kat

Thank you for the info. I checked my current olive oil and it is in a glass dark
container. I do buy mine at the supermarket and I cooked with it for many years.
It is not cheap. I stopped cooking with the oils about 3 months ago and only use
lard or butter. I started the Candida Diet about 5 days ago and I have been
taking 2 teaspoons of the olive oil a day. The only thing I may be doing that is
not on the Candida diet is drinking raw cream with water. I was drinking raw
milk before this and have gone to raw cream to cut the sugars. I also stopped
taking insulin at the same time I started the Candida diet and for the first
time this morning, I had a reading of 118. My morning readings are usually over
200. I'll see if this holds up or if I can continue this diet. I'm just thrilled
to know my pancreas is still producing.

I think everyone knows that extra virgin olive oil is theoretically the
healthiest pourable oil. It is sought after by many who wish to avoid the
huge amounts of free radicals and several resultant degenerative diseases
that are promoted by other pourable oils. But I said 'theoretically' for
good reason: a huge scam
