Cholesterol stuff..

Sunday, October 3rd, 2004

Ohh.. Debra.. not to go on and on.. but the last time I did the MC Diet,
I was going to the doctor regularly because I had just started dealing
with the diabetes thing. So he monitored my condition very closely.. he
was open to holistic methodology but still fairly skeptical. He did a
full blood workup at the start of my diet and on day 18 he did another.
He was utterly shocked at how much nearly all of my borderline and high
areas (blood sugar and a1c thingy included) were significantly improved.
I don’t recall exact numbers but my bad cholesterol count went from
somewhere around 170 or so down to the mid 20s in 18 days. He could
hardly believe his eyes, and asked for a copy of the diet. *smile* The
only area that didn’t show as much improvement was my liver stuff, and I
am sure it is because I wasn’t doing the laxative tea as recommended.
Those do work to clean out the liver, I have found, as most have things
like dandelion root, burdock root, etc. in them. That would have kept
my liver cleansing as well.

Very timely…

Ah well, so much for Jewell’s resolution… Anyway, I have to say from
here on out, I am going to disregard one strident and ad nausum voice (
which seems *IN MY OPINION, OF COURSE* guilty of the very thing it
accuses others of doing.. must be that old saying… ‘when you point a
finger at someone, only one is pointing at them.. the rest are pointing
back at you.’) while very much enjoying the free sharing of information
the internet is so very famous for from the rest of the group of 300.

I did like the Curezone’s news letter about liver flushes this time..
Isn’t the guy interviewed, Dushan Stojkovic the who started this group??
I like his succient handling of those who style themselves experts about
such things in the traditional medical field. I might call them experts
