> I do think you could do a day or so of goldenseal

Here’s a nasty note about goldenseal but since none of you know me, I don’t
mind telling it. :-) A few weeks ago, I decided to do some immune system
build up by using an echinacea/goldenseal combination pill. I had no idea
that goldenseal was used for elimination of parasites. I thought both of
those herbs built your immune system and that’s all I knew. Since herbs
don’t always agree with my digestive system, I took just 1 pill twice a day
for 3 days. On the 3rd day, I passed the filthiest, nastiest worm you have
ever seen, about 3 INCHES LONG… scared the daylights out of me !! It
wasn’t alive, thank goodness, but it was GROSS. I swear it looked like a
snake. This was no small white thread-like worm that you usually hear about.
I probably wouldn’t have even known I passed it, except that it like uh
’stuck’ somewhat to my behind after a bowel movement…. After wiping with
tissue as usual, I got into the shower. As I began washing myself, this

Hey Annie…. T-4 in thryoid supplements contains wood alcohol? Is that in
the synthetic supplements or also in the natural Armour thryoid supplement?
And how did you find out such a thing?

Watercure / Exercise idea

Monday, October 25th, 2004

Hello all,

I have followed this forum for quite awhile and appreciate all the
interesting ideas that are generated. I just wanted to post that I have also
ordered some good quality sea salt and am going to try the watercure
approach. To me it sounds like it would be beneficial from two points:
hydration and flushing of toxins and also a good supply of minerals that we
are lacking. The website says that is what makes ‘the cure’, not just the
water. It will take 2 -3 months before we will know if it really changes
anything! I am not taking any medication (have taken some oral in the past)
for high blood sugar. I struggle daily with the carb thing but can keep my
sugars down to an acceptable range if I watch it and exercise. I also have
used parasite cleanses, lemonade cleanse, and psyillium seed husks for
intestinal cleansing. All of them have helped me to a degree. I am currently
doing the intestinal cleanse in preparation for another round with the

Intro

Monday, October 18th, 2004

Hi, my name is Cindy. I joined this group because my grandma has diabetes.
Her blood sugar is out of control. She just started taking insulin after
about 5 years of taking pills that didn’t work. The insulin hardly does
anything for her. Her average os about 350, even when she hardly eats and
she’s not eating as much sweets as she used to. I moved her in with me
because she’s so forgetful. She can’t remember when or IF she takes her meds
and she’s so tired all the time. She’s a high stress person and I’m working
on getting her to relax more. She’s going to be 62 this year and has been in
disability for the last 20 some odd years for stress. She has this idea in
her head that she has to be at my moms in order for my mother to survive.
Granted, my mom does need a lot of help, I’m trying to get it thru her head
that she needs to take care of her first. She won’t be able to help anyone
if she’s too sick. I just recently found something in the paper she wants
about hydrogen peroxide curing diabetes. It’s supposed to give recipies for
curing a lot of diseases. Hopefully it will help. I’m willing to try just

Hi David… I find this statement fascinating. I read just a couple of
quotes in a pamphlet some time ago attributed to an old doctor who
incorporates "folk medicine" into his practice. He says that in folk
medicine, it’s believed that diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease,
etc., are all "high energy" diseases, and that when the body is calmed down
and switched back into low gear by the use of folk remedies such as iodine
and apple cider vinegar, it will reverse those diseases. Essentially, that
is what the woman Zyra on the site that you sent also said. Have you any
links to any websites that expand on the ancient Greeks curing diabetes by
the doctors talking to their patients?

Water and Sea salt

Tuesday, October 12th, 2004

I looked at that web page…It does sound like many people swear by
it! At worst it sounds harmless. -Seems like a person could include
it along with whatever else they are doing for their health and just

Effective management of Diabetes Mellitus Type II.

Thanks for your answers. My trouble with Inositol may just be my own
peculiar chemistry…I also get an immediate bladder infection if I
drink a diet soda (?). Life is a dang MAZE, isn’t it?! Sometimes I
feel like a paramecium, bumping into this wall, reversing, paddling
off in another direction till I hit the next wall, etc. etc….Gotta
