Oops! Should we split into two groups?
-Sorry about the dud!
Are there enough people who are unhappy with the quantity of
argumentative posts here, and who would want to regroup elsewhwere on
the net with some peace-keeping rules in place….? Like, 1) a
committment to a spirit of cooperation, 2) a requirement to express
debate in a respectful way, to ‘agree to disagree’ and drop it in the
case of unresolvable conflict, and 3) to settle democratically (by
membership vote?)any issues we can neither settle nor drop…?
Diabetes is so hard. I think we should be kind to each other.
Another question: would the type-1’s like to have their own list,
since the two diseases are so different in both cause and treatment?
Also, by demographics, type-1’s are greatly outnumbered by type-2’s,
a truth reflected in this list. I don’t know if other 1’s would

I would yes… but how would we know who would be on what list?

Start a new group, sure go ahead, and by the way their
are quite a few diatic lists no available to any
diabetic….my suggestion join them all and then start
deleting the ones your find contridicting your
personal ideas and you’ll probably come up with a
group that satisfies your thoughts…
and for those who do not know and are
interested….there are groups for Dr Hulda Clark,
bowel cleanse , liver cleanse and kidney clease and so
one……Hundreds of lists to join…
Good Luck in your hunt.

I say just ignore it. I admit I find it very humorous. People get pissed off
and then they can’t get over it. They just go on and on. I used to be like
this, but through theraphy and meds I overcame it. Maybe that is why I find
it so funny. My daughter 15, is now going through this. She just started
medication. One person at the dinner table would say something to her, maybe
even in a joke and then she would just get mad and go on for 6 or 7 hours.
I do like the difference in opinions. It does keep it lively and give you
something to think about. I am sure that half if right about half the time.

On every list this happens and it just eventually goes away and then another
will start. I don’t like to see people banned from lists. When you
communicate through e-mail it is so different than in person. I imagine all
the parties involved could have a reasonable argument in person. I say just
continue on with the list and ignore what you don’t like.
