Lynn type 1
Lynn,
The reason I asked about the cleanse you talked about is that my daughter is
a type 1 and we have been using the parasite cleanse herbs. We have had some
interesting results, such as reduced need for insulin as much as 1/3 to 1/2,
passing of many parasites, clearing of several types of skin problems ect.
But I have not been able to talk her into doing the liver cleanse (olive
oil& grapefruit juice) and from what I read is a very important part of the
clean up program. I have told her all the information and promised we would
wait until she was ready to try it. We have been able to avoid increasing
the amounts of insulin that seems to be expected by her doctor, whether it
is because she is still in the honeymoon stage or the parasite cleanse I
don’t know. She is starting into puberty and we are starting to see
unexplained spikes in blood sugars, I have not heard of anything to help
with the hormone fluctuation of puberty except time.

Hi Lynn. I am type-I and have been for 34 years. I was not in very
good control (to put it mildly) when I was a teenager, so I cannot
speak to hormone related blood sugar spikes…(Mine were usually
related to the giant chocolate sundae I had just eaten *)
But I am currently trying a treatment that might be very effective
for a newly diabetic person. it is called Neuro Modulation Technique
and is supposed to help auto-immune disorders of all sorts, any kind
of allergy, fibromyalgia/chronic physical pain, etc. etc. It is only
about 8 months old (this method), Was pioneered by a guy in
Hermiston, Oregon and if anyone is interested, the link is:

If I had just gotten diabetes (1) I would definitely try it. I don’t
expect it to cure me after 34 years, but who knows. This list will be
the first to hear of it if it does! I’m not sure if it can help type-

Dear Steve & Karen:
I agree with your daughter about the olive oil liver cleanse - yuk! However,
cleansing the liver is vital for a person with diabetes. The lemon cleanse is
actually pleasant tasting. It would be important to find the book "The Master
CLeanser" by Stanley Burroughs to understand the cleanse completely. Our local
health food store had it on hand.
When was your daughter diagnosed with Type 1? I applaud your efforts to be
aggressive with cleansing her body to try to assist its functioning properly.
Our son is going to be 14 next Sunday and puberty has offered us some special
challenges also. It seems that consistent, moderate exercise works the best for
him. Too much exercise producing too much adrenaline blocks insulin, so that’s
counter-productive.
Hope some of this helps.
Lynn

Hi Linda,
I find this so interesting. My old PR would like to try this on me.
I have only been diabetic 3 years (type 1 but I’m 36). They are
using NMT with autoimmune diseases with much success. I am also
looking into this for my son who has autism. Les Feinberg, the
founder, is on another list I belong to that discusses NAET
(accupressure allergy treatments). He is extremely confident in his
work and claims enormous success. If it does what it says it does it
should help all diabetics to a certain degree. Wonderful to hear that
you’re trying this! Keep us posted!
My best,
Fiona
