Sea salt
Dear Debra Jean,
Seasalt is chock full of that most precious of ingredients: MINERALS!!!
I’m sure I’ve made my point more than clear about how I feel there: they
gave me back MY LIFE!!!
I use seasalt from a large, reputable health food store, and it’s crystals.
I don’t use MUCH - ever - as I have long ago trained my taste buds to like
other things. In fact, I frequently feel almost nauseated eating out at
buffets (we have LOTS of buffets near where I live in Kissimmee, Florida (10
minutes from DisneyWorld!), and the veggies for the most part are in what
seems like BRINE to me! YUCK! A few years ago, I would not have noticed.
Also, as a diabetic, I have had to change my drinking habits as they relate
to soda. I used to LOVE root beer, but have never used diet sodas, being
acutely aware of how dangerous Aspartame is. Now, I make my own sodas from
club soda, a few drops of birch essential oil (or orange, lemon, or
grapefruit EO), and some stevia. But once in a while I sneak a SIP from my
husband’s soda. He had ordered root beer at one of our favorite restaurants
and I took ONE SMALL SIP. EEEWWWW! I thought I’d choke it was SO
UNMERCIFULLY SWEET! ! ! I spit it out and had to flush my mouth with
water - I couldn’t believe this was ME actually doing something like this
with my beloved root beer!
Our tastes DO change, no doubt about it.
Now: if I’d ONLY stop liking the TASTE of chocolate chip cookies. <sigh>

salt..It is wonderful.
You really seem to have done alot of studying on this subject.why do
they tell you it must be dark & not the lite color. thats what I read
elsewhere..Ive never tried that.
They do make sugar free cookies…OOPS! but they contain
aspartame…..

<< She said she had never heard of that either….that sea
salt is sea salt. >>

She’s very wrong. There are several kinds of sea salt, and several
colors. You can buy sea salt out of the grocery store, and it is no better than
regular salt. I’ve purchased from The Grain & Salt Society online, and been
very pleased. It not only has the sea salt for sale, but gives complete
information on it. You can find them at www.celtic-seasalt.com
I don’t know anything about the cinnamon or butcher’s broom.
