To Kady
The majority of hair analysis labs are on the level, though a few are not.
It also depends WHERE the hair came from and how much shampoo residue there
may have been on it, though.
Sodium/potassium imbalance in that direction is normal…unfortunately, THAT
IS BAD. MOST of us are out of balance that way. I disagree about no
calcium supplements: women need them. Just depends on what KIND of
calcium.
Also, the potassium seems a bit high.

I looked at all the places on the internet that do hair analysis and chose
the one that seemed most knowledgeable… paid $105 for a complete analysis.
The instructions for how to collect the hair, from where, how much and all
that were extremely specific. Do you mean that the sodium/potassium
imbalance is fairly normal in diabetics, or normal in everyone. Yikes, BAD,
huh? …. what would be your method to correct it, or do I need to come to
you as a client for this? I think the no calcium thing had to do with a
different imbalance. I don’t have the analysis results handy at the moment.

Dear Kady,
I meant that MOST of us have huge imbalances in sodium/potassium because of
the American penchant for SALTY JUNK FOODS! ! We eat dramatically more salt
than our bodies need. We DO need some, but the best source for that is
seasalt. Just start looking at the salt content in everything you consume
and it’ll make you SHIVER WITH DISMAY!!! Things are salted that NOBODY on
earth with half a brain would salt…but the manufacturers DO.
It’s pretty easy to correct: CUT OUT ALL THAT EXTRA SALT, and eat more
veggies!
It sounds fairly on the up and up about that hair analysis, so I think
you’re probably pretty safe there.
BUT - in 40 years in the herbal and altmed health field, I have YET to see a
woman who really had too much organic calcium in her body. Coral calcium
works because it has lots of minerals, but a very few companies have even
better calcium. Best form: liquid. No contest here. That’s the only one
I recommend or sell to my clients.
