Re: Leg/heart proble ms
Well I went to the cardio to get my MRA results today. I want to pass on
what I learned.
I do have severe blockage in my femoral arteries in both legs. However, it
is not dangerous and you don’t die or have a heart attack from it. They can
put a stent in it.
But, the problem is that my pain is not the same as the pain with blocked
arteries or PAD (peripheral artery disease). When you have severe PAD, the
kind that they do operate on, you can only walk about 10 feet and you have
pain so severe, you must sit down. Pain is always gone upon rest. My pain is
like a toothache and get much worse when I sit down and lay down. He said
the fact that I can shop for 5 and 6 hours on my feet, is not anywhere
close. In, other words, he could put a stent in, but it wouldn’t take my
pain away.
So to the Neurologist to have nerve and muscle tests. I am sending a
separate e-mail informing you of the latest Baycol lawsuit information.
So, I am relieved not to be having surgery, but still don’t really know what
is wrong.
Thanks,
Phyllis
