&#60;LOL&#62;

Don't go poking holes in their ~magic~ formula!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And specifically w/ re: to Lantis, to my knowledge it is PURELY a LONG
acting insulin, and is NOT a short acting one. If I am correct, it would be
a SERIOUS mistake to use it at meal times for ~coverage~ of the carbs in our
foods.

But if you were taking the Humalog rather than the Lantis that would be a
better insulin for that particular duty.

I too as have any diabetic on injectable insulin questioned ok, &#34;... why is
&lt;!--more--&gt;
this stuff so MAGICAL if I am compelled to take it with every meal...&#34; It
would be magic if I only needed to take it once and be done for the day
(with the same effect)!

The insulin pump, IMHO-fwiw has the identical challenge. Why waste our time,
money and effort for the technology, when I can do the same thing, without
the extra costs, as you said before, merely shooting prior to my meal. Why
bother with the technology. Its not the &#34;magic&#34; the insulin it uses is....</description>
