blaming the victims aka Re: positive though somet

"The people who complain the loudest about the health care
industry being our of control with outrageous costs for everything
they need, and who can’t afford the high cost of drugs, are the same
ones who never took a second thought about taking care of themselves
in the first place."

That’s just your guess as there is nothing to support your statement.

There’s a lot more going on then just making wrong choices. By your
reasoning we should just have people dying in the streets, or perhaps
euthenasia for those underserving of life?

I have adequate health care but I still recognize the need for a better
health care delivery system and one that is available for everyone who needs
it, not just for the deserving.

  1. Dave Black Says:

Health and happiness are said to go hand,. Which is
more important is for the individual to decide.

If health is the more important. then as you stated
below it is 100 percent correct.

If, however, happiness if more important then as
stated below you are wrong. and it is my conclusion
that each individual most accept what are the most
important qualities of life to be attained.

For me happiness is a true quality of life, perhaps my
life will not be as long as others, but I will have
    lived a life.

I quite smoking after the State of California raised
the tax on smokes to over 4.00 per pack, I enjoyed
smoking But smoking and I departed friends over money.

On the other hand health wise, I have defeated
diabetes to the extend, after twenty years, I through
my medicines out the window and for the past two years
have been very successful. Today, I do have glass of
Chianti with a good Italian dinner. In the mornings I
drink a all fruit drink for health reasons. I have a
glass of beer now and then, and it takes just great.

Am I happy? Yes, and, am I healthy? As best aas I can.
and, I am enjoying life as it is presented to me.

The one think that I will not do is to condemn anyone
for their lifestyle. The things you have stated are
true but they just cannot be applied to all the
    people.

    All the best
    Michael
