Reply to Joy

Your food plan looked excellent and so is your way of thinking. I have
wanted to cheat so bad the last couple of days, but everytime I almost
cheat I think about hard I have fought the last 4 months to lose weight
and get my blood sugar down, I always stop.

This is the first time in my life I have ever had any willpower. Maybe I
am just scarred to death, which is a good thing!

    Atkins. I have never had any willpower unitl now. I never cheat. I
    stopped all meds and took a big rish (I would never recommend this to
    anyone. This is a personal decision). But, I took my blood sugar about 4
    times a day and never never cheated.

    I used to start a diet every Monday and by Thursday I had caved in. With
    Atkins you eat very few carbs. Once you go about a week with no carbs
    you lose your cravings.

    I usually have no appetite being in ketosis, but about every 5 days, I
    get ravenously hungry. But, I can eat all I want as long as it is low
    carb or 0 carbs, so on those days I will eat 5 eggs and a large T-bone
    steak at one time.
