How much cassia cinnamon do you take in a day to lower your blood sugar?
Do you take it before meals or after or just all day?

Thanks for helping me with this info.

apples, walnuts and fish…dinner six after and then
another three about 9pm I snacked after dinner …. my
sugar av3eraged about 130 today, prior to starting
using cassia cinnamon my BSL averaged 175 plus with my

    Craig,

    Regarding cinnamon………

I use it often and would good sucess…I have done my
research on it and I am satisfied that their are no
side effects, nor have I send any side on effects on
    myself…

The cinnamon in question is cassia cinnamon not the
plain old cinnamon, the testing Dick refered to was
done with cassia cinnamon and was twenty times more
effective on BSL than any other none herb which
reduces the BSL. Their is a chemical compound in the
cassia cinnamon it’s abb. I believe is "MHCP" and it

is this compound which opens the cells to absorb the
insulin/glucose….in any case to make sure of no
errors on what I said I’ll spend some time over the
weekend with the research I have and post you another
    answer monday/tuesday…

In the meatime May I suggest you do a little research
to satisfied your self before jumping and using the
    cinnamon….

For me I have found that the cassia cinnamon does not
work well with the following, Rice, wheat, corn, rye ,
potatoes (except sweet potatoes) , all of these in any
form, popcorn , breads cereals etc………also fried
foods seem to storp the cassia from working…I don’t
drink soda ie..diet coke so I have no idea what
effects are with these soda drinks….I do drink club
soda and seems to work ok……..I test my BSL often
and the only time I have problems is when I eat the
Breads, cereals potatoes rice etc….it is at that
point that I must use the Meds to bring down the BSL
and it usually takes 24 hours to bring into
check…Hope I have been some help.

Atkins spends some time in his book on yeast, mainly talking about how
it keeps you form losing weight.

This is how I got involved. I called the Atkins people after going weeks
and not losing. They said I could have yeast. I have always had problems
with yeast after taking an antibotic.

I have never read anywhere that it will lower blood sugar, but it did
mine. I think any off balance you have in the body from having an
infection to having yeast will affect blood sugar, so that’s probably
    the answer.

My sugar stayed down, so I won’t discontinue the p. acid for a while and
    see what happens.

I have always believed that I have something missing somewhere, but just
can’t find the magic cure. There is just something that is just not
normal with my body and not even a normal case of diabetes. But, I will
    keep searching.

Sorry, I should read all the e-mail before I reply. It looks like you
read the same literature that I do. It is very fastinating and
surprising to me that very few nutritionists and doctors even know this!
