Questions on Blood Sugar

Do any on you know the answers to these questions?

How can you blood sugar just hang between 160 and 200 when you eat 0
carbs? I eat only meat and eggs.

Everytime I have lost weight no matter what kind of diet I was on my
blood sugar went higher than when I didn’t lose weight. Does anyone know
what this means?

I have been on Atkins 9 weeks, lost 21 pounds, in ketosis, no meds -
because eating no carbs the meds make me so sick I can’t hold my head
up.

Anybody got any ideas. I have called Atkins and I have read everything I
could and this is a frustrating situation.

    Phyllis,

    I have read that two types of diet (high carb
    -complex- low fat) or high protein no carb _ie Atkins
    can effect NIDD in different ways…why I do not
    know…I have tried both approaches and High Protein
    works for me…suggest reading up on these approaches
    and try both to determine which is better also see
    your doctor and explain to him the problems and if you
    have not, get a glucose tolerance test with an Hb a1c
    with those figures and his advice see an Naturophy
    doctor for his advise ….

    another item the body can cause an up turn of BSL
    especially under stress…
