Re: lowfat diet
Hi folks,
I have been limiting my fat intake for a couple of years and it has helped
out in keepping my bs levels down. I also found that when I do get a high bs
usually due to cheating on my diet, it will go down faster if I cheated with
carbs and much slower if I have imbibed something like a double cheeseburger!
Hope this helps out

Hi Shaun,
I follow, fairly rigidly, a lowfat, low sodium heart diet I try to keep my
fat intake below 30 grams per day. I also cheat, religiously once every other
week. This keeps me from being able to justify a rampant several day binge! I
have also found out that I can cheat slightly with carbs and my bs will go
down about 3 times as fast than it does with a cheesburger, (with carbs
within 12 hrs, with fat up to 3 days!!)
Good luck
Jack
