Hi, I am new here.

Hello out there,
My name is Jennifer and I belong to several other lists and when my
husband had a heart attack, I thought I would look for a onelist that
might help him.
He is 35 years old and very heavy now from a mild permenent back
injury recieved in a motorbike accident 10 years ago. 5′9" and 308,
he has had a hard time exercising between the back injury and all the
hours he put into his job.(Going to have a lot more time now) In the
last 6 months he has been diagnosed with hypothyroid, high
cholesteral and now on set diabeties (i think that is how you say
it). Last Sunday he had a mild, we think, heart attack and as I don’t
understand alot about this, I am seeking out information to learn
about how I can help him. He is going to be on a very restricted diet
now and I am choosing to go on this diet to help him stay on it and
I, a hypothroid, need to lose quite a bit of weight too. If you know

of any reciepe or links that has both those restrictions or how I can
learn to change reciepes, it would be greatly apprieciated.
Hopefully he can come home from the hospital tonight so I got to get
going and figure out what to feed him. Unfortunately, or fortunately,
he was a great cook and I hope he will be again but on his restricted
diet ingredients. We would like to get to the point where he is cured
of all of these problems and we need to get started. I have a lot of
work cut out for me. Also is there a link out there that can help me
explain everything to my older daughter. She’s 12 and has a lot of
questions. By helping her understand what is going on I feel that she
won’t feel as helpless. Thank you for listening, Jennifer.
