Pump stuff….

Hummmngh…. I think this is a proceedural issue, we’re talking about.
If you’re having KFC chicken and rice, with a salad ; ) and you want him to
have cake too. Ok….
Myself, I never had those kinds of foods (the "cake" type foods), and am
much healthier now, as an adult because of that fact! I wonder, if, if, it’s
such a great thing for him, (any of us to EAT), and learn to like all these
kinds of foods…. is that necessarily a good thing? Yes he’s "included" now
but, the dentist will LOVE him, AND great what if he acquires a taste for
it…. Potentially a problem, in some respects no ? I never learned to like
em, so never ate them…. but I started REAL young soooooo….
But, if you’re having the cake for dessert, where’s the problem with
coverage when he doses for dinner via the shot? You think about that stuff
in advance… ok, I’m having XY and oh yeah some Z (with vanilla ice cream
on the side <ggg>). That’s X units…..

Hummngh, not sure what to do with this one….? The insulin (whether
injected or infused) is binding to the fat cells (as I understand it) and
consequently he’s gaining more weight as the body holds onto those cells to
get at the insulin?

Back up, back up…. you’re saying he was underweight, IYV because he either
could not, or would not eat as a factor of not wanting a shot ~to cope~ with
the suger in that extra food : z ???? Yikes!!!!

External devise, MUST be attached to it 24 hours a day, seven days a week…
the beeping, the reinsertion several times a day before it "works"
(frequently) as it was supposed to do the FIRST &*)@&#)@#)@ time, we did it
correctly, and then the second, and then the third <whimpering>!
A shot is in and out, all done.
Nothing attached, nothing gets caught on anything…. don’t have to explain
what it is…
Let’s chat about this some more….
