Hi

everyone, I’m new to the list, I joined for my Mom, who "doesn’t do
computers"..lol….
She is a Type 2 diabetic, and in her 50’s. I’m sure she would love me for
telling her age :) Anyway, I have been forwarding the info along to her, and wanted to say thanks
to everyone for the info!
One question: Her doctor tells her 140 is high, (which is where she is at now),
but, some other people she knows are at 140 also, and their doc’s tell them that
it’s fine…any help here???Thanks,
Peggy

    Peggy,
I am also in my fifties and am diabetic for15 years now. Insulin
dependent for 8 years. Peronally, I have been told that 140 is not high,
although it is better if it is lower. Any bloodsugars over 200 can be
considered extremely high although I have had relatives with higher
    bloodsugars.
` It really is best, though for your mom to check with her doctor and
dietician. They can give her the best advice.
