Im a 42 year old male who was first diagnosed about 5 years
ago and really went after it with diet and exercise. Got good control and
stupidly figured I was ‘In Control’ and stopped regular checks, etc.
For the last several months, I’ve been feeling bad and
started checking my BG again. Using my OLD strips (over 5 years old), my
fasting BG has been between 175-245. Its been along while since I’ve been
testing but wanted to know if those strips were still accurate or better get
some new???
Also, is there any new,better reading sources on control. I
need to get informed again.
