    hii….
i am a new member of this group and i have a question .

What is the status of superoxide dismutase in typeII Diabetes
    mellitus?

    thank you

This morning my BSL was normal and after a light
breakfast of eggs bacon and coffee and a very small
amount of rock mellon , about an half hour later I had
a very stressful and somewhat strenous situation
develope , it lasted about 5 minutes, within a half
hour I felt like my BSL was heading to low, HG
situation developing or at least I though. I know
stress can make the BSL go up but it felt just the
opposite. I tested the blood and was ranging about 190
a little high for me , At this point took required
dose of Meds and continuing testing my Blood every 15
mins for the next hour and half , the BSL started to
subside but the bad effects previously mentioned
continued, at this point eat some candy and within 15
minutes I came around and started to feel normal

again, the bsl at this point averaged about 150…..

    Any thoughts???

    All the best
    Michael

  4. Dave Black Says:

150 wasnt normal that was just where the bsl was at
that time, I used the candy as a test to see if the
situation would change, which it did…Psychic pain?
could have been but dont think so.

Target range for TI is 80-180mg/dL. Major proteins do not
begin glycosylating until consistent BS readings above 200
    mg/dL.

    Those nos. (BSL < 100mg/dL and Hba1c < 6.0 seem low.) Is
he still in the honeymoon (NIDDM) period?

    Hi Jewell,

It always a warm feeling when you here good news about
people. Glad to here you test was negative.

Today all is ok, yesterday was strange and dramatic,
when I see the MD I’ll enquire and see what his
    thoughts are.

    Jeff.

    Thanks for the imput

    > Two questions… why test every 15 minutes <puzzled
    > look>? Were you afraid you were going to pass out?

I am my own personal guinea pig, something was not
normal and testing became part of my plan to attempt a
    solution …..

Again, a test to see how my body responded to the
    intake of sugar..

Excellent, this could be the answer…

    Thanks
    All the best
    Michael
